The Quebec University Libraries Recognition Award was created in 2019 to recognize the exceptional contribution of staff members from these institutions.

In 2021, a joint award was presented to Guy Bilodeau, Directeur du Soutien à la Recherche, Bibliothèque de l’Université Laval, and former member of the Groupe de Travail sur les Indicateurs de Performance et d’Aide à la Décision (IPAD), and to Stefan Bunea, Library Assessment Assistant, Concordia University.

The members of the jury recognized the leadership, commitment and collaborative spirit that both of these individuals demonstrated for the entire Quebec academic library community by creating a global statistics visualization tool for BUQ.

The recording of the BUQ 2021 Recognition Award ceremony and the jury’s letter of recommendation are available on the Library Subcommittee’s LibGuides page.
